lamp of Mughal architecture”.
Built during the reign of SIKANDER LODI.
GLAZED TILES were used in its

Built in 1444 by ALAM SHAH.

dynasty
Comissioned in 1562 AD.

DECLARED A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE
SITE IN 1993.
Constructed by SHAH JAHAN,this is a 17th
century complex. It was designated a
UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007. It
covers a total area of about 121.34 acres.
Principle mosque of old delhi.It is the
largest mosque in INDIA.It has the
capacity to hold 25000 worshippers at a
time.
Built by MAHARAJA JAI SINGH II of
JAIPUR. The primary purpose of the
observatory was to compile astronomical
tables, and to predict the times and
movements of the sun, moon and
planets.

This kind of concept was unusual in india
till the 17th century.
These building have 32 arched bays
which used to serve as shops,just like
they do now.
