What You Need to Know about Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. We can cover your overdrafts in two different ways:
1. If funds are available in your regular savings we will transfer funds needed to clear the item, plus an overdraft transfer fee. See feeschedule.
2. If funds are not available in your regular savings we may authorize and pay according to our standard courtesy pay policy.
Our standard courtesy pay policy
We may authorize and pay overdrafts for the following types of transactions:
Checks and other transactions made using your checking account number
ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions
Automatic bill payments
We do not authorize the following types of transactions for overdraft:
ATM transactions
Debit card transactions
We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction.
If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined.
What fees will be charged if Telco Plus Credit Union pays my overdraft?
Under our standard overdraft policy:
We will charge you a fee of $30.00 each time we pay an overdraft
There is no limit on the total fees we can charge you for overdrawing your account

DEBIT CARD DISCLOSURE NOTICE
TRANSACTIONS:
Pay for purchases at merchants that have agreed to accept VISA to:
Make POS (Point of Sale) transactions with your card selecting “credit” and signing transaction receipt-- (recommended)
Make POS (Point of Sale) transactions with your card and personal identification number (PIN)
Order goods or services by mail, telephone or internet.
Access your account(s) at ATMs using your card and personal identification number (PIN) to:
Make withdrawals from share savings, checking and member money fund accounts
Deposit funds to your savings, checking and member money fund accounts
Transfer funds between your savings, checking and member money fund accounts
Obtain balance information on savings, checking and member money fund accounts
TRANSACTION FEES: There are no fees to use ATM’s owned by Telco Plus Credit Union or ATM’s within the following networks:Moneypass network Visit www.monepass.com to locate an ATM or download a free phone App
CO-OP network Visit www.co-opnetwork.org to locate an ATM or download a free phone AppThere is a $1.00 fee for ATM withdrawals at machines we do not own or partner with.
FEES BY OTHERS: If you use an ATM machine that is not operated by us, you may be charged a fee by the operator of the machine
and/or by an automated transfer network. You may also be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a funds transfer.
OTHER FEES:
Replacement card fee $5.00 per card.
Non-sufficient fund fee $30.00.
$2.00 Overdraft transfer fee when debit card transactions transfer from another share account.
Foreign Transaction-- a 1% Transaction Fee (International Service Assessment Fee billed by Visa) on all international purchase,
cash disbursement, and Account credit transactions.
FOREIGN TRANSACTIONS: If you effect an international transaction with your VISA Debit Card, VISA will convert the charge into a
U.S. dollar amount. The exchange rate between the transaction currency and the billing currency used for processing international
transactions is a rate selected by Visa from a range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date
which rate may vary from the rate Visa itself receives or the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing Date.
Rate may differ from the applicable rate on the date the transaction occurred or when the transaction is posted to your Account.
DEPOSITS:
Deposits made at ATM’s owned by Telco Plus Credit Union will be made available as outlined in the Funds Availability Policy
Deposits made at a nonproprietary ATM may not be available until the fifth (5th) business day after the date of your deposit.
DAILY LIMITS: Your daily limit is $750.00 for purchases and $250.00 for ATMs. machines for a total daily limit of $1,000.00. You will
be notified if you are approved for a different limit and could be charged to adjust this limit repeatedly.
LOST OR STOLEN CARDS OR PIN: If you believe your card or PIN has been lost or stolen or that someone has transferred or may
transfer money from your account without your permission, immediately call (903) 753-5588 or 1-800-492-7283 or after hours call: 1-800-
791-2525 (answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
ERROR RESOLUTION DISCLOSURE - In the case of errors or questions about your electronic transfers, call (903) 753-5588 or write
Telco Plus Credit Union, Member Services, P. O. Box 3099, Longview TX 75606-3099. We must hear from you no later than 60 days after
we send the first statement on which the problem or error appeared.
BUSINESS DAYS & HOURS - Our business days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m.
to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon, excluding holidays.
ACTIVATION OF YOUR DEBIT CARD - When you receive your ATM card, you must activate it before using it for the first time. To
activate it call 1-800-448-8268, 24 hours a day – 7 days a week.
Keep the carrier your debit card arrives in. It has your card number and the phone number to call if your card is lost or stolen. It also has
other important information regarding your card usage.
A complete Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement and Disclosure is included in your Membership Account and Agreement.

ATM & DEBIT CARD SAFETY GUIDELINES
ATMs provide a quick and easy way to obtain your money. However, you should use caution and remember the following safety tips:
When selecting a Personal Identification Number (PIN), do not use your birthday, address or any personal information easily
obtained by others.
Memorize you PIN. Do not write it on your ATM card, card glove, checkbook or other items carried with your card.
Do not give any information over the telephone. No one else should ever ask for you PIN, not even the employees at your financial
institution.
Report lost or stolen ATM cards to your financial institution immediately.
Always be aware of your surroundings when using an ATM. Use well lighted areas with good general visibility.
Report any suspicious people or activities at an ATM to the police immediately.
Have your card ready when you approach the ATM and move away quickly once you have completed your transaction.
When entering your PIN, shield the keypad with your body so others cannot see what you enter.
Remember to take your card and the receipt after you have completed your transaction.
Save your receipts. Verify each transaction by checking the receipts against your statements.
