Client In 2007, Chef Josh Henderson created Skillet Street Food in Seattle. Today Skillet includes two successful diners, two award winning food trucks, a thriving catering enterprise, the Skillet Counter (located at the Seattle Center Armory) and a food products business — distributing its signature products across the US and Canada.

Challenge Increase Skillet’s brand recognition and press coverage.

Strategy Pitch local and national publications for placement in their upcoming holiday gift guides regarding Skillet’s signature Bacon Jam and Pumpkin Sauce.

Evaluation Thus far,* holiday gift guide considerations have been picked up by Food Network, Glamour Magazine, Pink Magazine, and Bon Appétit. *Efforts still in-progress.

Challenge Increase the Northwest African American Museum’s social media presence and brand recognition.

Strategy Raise awareness through the use of social media, printed materials, and word of mouth.

Evaluation Raised social media presence by 15 percent on Twitter and Facebook. Increased museum foot traffic 17 percent by quarter end.
