DARLING RANGE CITIZENSHIP AWARDS 2013

The Darling Range Learning Community includes the Darling

Range Sports College and it's seven feeder primary schools -

Dawson Park, Edney, Forrestfield, High Wycombe, Maida Vale, Wattle

Grove and Woodlupine.

Network Principal, Mr Rick Walters, Principal of High Wycombe Primary School, welcoming everyone to the awards in the new Sports Centre at the Darling Range Sports College

Thank you to our sponsors for the event, New Town Toyota and Kalamunda Toyota with owner and dealer principal, Joe Zeto, speaking to the students about the importance of good values and citizenship in the working environment.

The Citizenship Awards were judged on a portfolio produced by the students during their time in Years 6 and 7 demonstrating how they were

participating and developing as good citizens in their local and wider community.

Congratulations to all of our participants and especially our winners.

Guest Speaker, Ms Chrissie Sleep, a social worker at Darling Range Sports College, is also very active in the local community and gave the

students an excellent, thought provoking talk about the importance of contributing and making

a difference in the local and wider community.

Network Coordinator, Lara Govers from Maida Vale Primary, looks on as Mr Walters
