Modern Farmhouse is a three-story condomium, located in Provence, France, that has been transformed into a modern interpretation

of a Provencal farmhouse. The farmhouse utilizes clean lines, modern finishes, and whimsical elements

to combine a traditional concept with a more modern couple.

The floorplan is focused around the concept of a central courtyard,a common element in Provencal

farmhouses. The first two floors are part of the private residence, while the third floor contains two office

spaces and a separate entrance. The clients, a chef and fashion designer, teach and work from home. The space functions for the couple’s private and professional life.

‘Jamie’s Apartment’ is a hand drawn spacecreated to fit the needs of a client living in New

York. The client was looking for color, whimsy, and cleanlines, all of which were achieved by bringing

together a palette of purples withstreamlined frniture options. The client wanteda space that had elements of ‘glam’, leading to

material finishes such as black and whitetiled floors, metals, and an abundance of drapery. The

result is an apartment fit for Jamie’s aesthetic.
