New Year, Coming out Day, Women’s History Month)• Collect all views even controversial perspectives so they are available.

learners• Large collections supplemented by free Interlibrary loan of other

content• Online access to thousands of resources and assistance to use it

Libraries support Diverse thinking• Offer expert assistance to locate information on topics you are not

familiar with or may be afraid to talk about with others• Well trained culturally competent staff who honor Library

Code of Ethics which includes right to remain anonymous• Online resources with spoken word content and translation options

for non native English speakers/learners• Honor diversity in our work teams, publications and web site
