u TLID2003 Handle Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances

Our popular Nationally Accredited Chemical Safety

Course is available in 2019 on a Public Basis in Perth in

partnership with Aveling at their impressive $11m

Training Facilities in Jandakot. The Course is recognised

in Western Australia as the premier awareness training

module for the safe use of chemicals in the workplace

that are Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances.

It is used by many of the major mining and resource

companies as part of their induction training.

In 2019 the course has been amended and updated to

reflect the new legislation in Australia that has been

introduced covering the GHS (Global Harmonisation

System) and one hour of the course covers new

requirements on Chemical Labelling, Classification and

Material Safety Data Sheet Management.

Course Objectives

The course aims to provide employees with

a key understanding of how to work safely

with Dangerous Goods and Hazardous

Substances in the workplace and covers

the following key aspects:

• Legislation

• Chemical Hazards

• Material Safety Data Sheets

• PPE

• Labelling

• Placarding and Signage

• Dealing with an Incident

• Risk Assessments

• Segregation

• Warehousing

• Transport Requirements

The Course will be run at our training

facilities in Jandakot on the following dates

through 2019:

• January 24th

• February 21st

• March 21st

• April 25th

• May 23rd

• June 20th

• July 25th

• August 22nd

• September 19th

• October 24th

• November 21st

• December 12th

Alternatively our training can be run at your

site – please call for details.Course Details

• Cost is $275.00 (GST Free). Credit card payment available.

• Course lasts 6 hours and runs from 8.30am to 2.30pm.

• Delivered at 6 Orion Road, Jandakot WA 6164.

• Student receives Nationally Accredited Certificate from Registered Training Organisation.

• Extensive training materials included in the price.

• Cafeteria service available.
