“Linda” Moments…On rare occasion, you’re faced with someone who doesn’t like how you farm.

Linda was my first experience.

I was signing cookbooks at the DSM Farmer’s Market. Linda and I had a great conversation, I talked with her about pastry and how her croissants would turn out better if… etc.

She asked what we did, and I told her we raised pigs.

Once she heard how many she shook her head, spat at me and walked away, leaving me her signed cookbook.

Everyone around was listening and watching to gauge my reaction.
