Medical Device Connectivity 2-22-2011

• GE Healthcare agreement to integrate Carescape patient monitors with Capsule Technologie's Enterprise Device Connectivity system and Mobile Vitals Plus applications.

• As part of the arrangement, GE will distribute Capsule's products.

• Enables GE to provide device connectivity throughout the hospital, both inside and outside the GE product line, to automatically transmit relevant clinical information to a broad range of EMRs.

• As an initial step in the relationship, hospitals can use GE's vital signs monitors with Capsule's Mobile Vitals Plus application, which helps caregivers capture vital signs for multiple patients, validate these clinical measurements at the point of care and automatically send them to the EMR.
