Sewage Right-to-Know
• Sewage “Right to Know” Act (PA 12-11)– Affects information distribution and notification
after sewage bypass or CSO event– Takes some requirements that were in NPDES
Permit and makes them state law.– Requires DEEP to post maps and impact data of
areas potentially affected by CSO events.– Requires DEEP to post impact data regarding
sewage spills.
