Market Analysis:Drowning is considered as the third cause of incidental death in the world with more about 380 000death/year and about 1.9 million hospitalized victims according to the World Health Organization2014. It is estimated that every year nearly 200 million person face drowning risk. In USA,Drowning injuries related direct and undirect cost are estimated to 25 milion $/year. In somecountries Drowning comes just after cars incident in terms of the number of victims.  Today nearly all cars have airbags, our goal is that within one decade all sold swimwear will integrate Hakimdrowning prevention system.  

Business Proposition:Drowning is Fast and Silent Death, requiring permanent supervision Hakim is the world first SmartSwimwear helping detecting a victim facing drowning incident and saving him by evacuating himout of the water using inflatable technology. Hakim Smart Swimwear has been designed in a wayto look natural and similar to normal swimwear so the user feel comfortable using it. The user caneasily configure the swimwear according to his swimming ability using a simple Smatphoneapplication available on both Android and iOS Hakims makes use of advanced sensing technologyto analyse swimmer motion in water and the results of 6 years of R&D development conducted inJapan and Tunisia.  

Competitive Advantage:Unlike Poseidon (Camera based ) and Santag(wrist band based), Hakim intelligent swimwear canbe operated in the sea as well as swimming pool. With relatively very affordable price(PoseidonSystem cost over 100 000$ to install). In addition Hakim can not only detect victims facingdrowning incident but also evacuating them out of the water. Reducing the needs to the presenceof life guards. Compared to Kingii, Hakim has the advantage to be hidden inside the swimwearand to be fully automatic. In the case of Kingii only victim who know how to swim and consciouscan use it. Since those who do not how to swim once they are in panic situation cannot controltheir body anymore to activate manually Kingii airbag system the same apply for victims who facehealth problem and loose consciousness

Investment Attractiveness:Drowning comes in some countries just after cars incidents in terms of death related injuries. Today nearly all cars has airbag, our ultimate goal is equip every swimwear with Hakim drowningprevention system within less than one decade. We have been working on the commercial editionof the system starting from 2013. After rising the first round of financing with 80000 Euro, we wereable to achieve a high progress in the product developement. And this especially in terms of thesystem size.  Recently we have won the first prize at Univenture program. Since that we havereceived several offers from investment organizations with 300000 Euro valuation. However weare postponding our second round of financing to the coming Spring after  launching ourCrowdfunding compaign.  

IP Situation:Hakim is the results of 6 years of R&D activities mainly conducted at the university of Tokyo.  Theuniversity give the intellectual property right to inventor and the idea owner.  After receiving myPhD I informed my professor that I am planing to start my own Start Up based on my researchactivities and I discussed with the university responsibles at the Technology LicensingOrganization (TLO) if there are any IP related problems.
