What is Co-Mingled Recycling ?• Recyclables that are compacted and then

transported to processing center in Chester, VA

Recycle• Co-Mingled recycling adopted by CCPS in 2008.

Compactor was voted on and purchased.

• Co-Mingled Recycling center is located at the end of Dixie Youth Drive

• Electronics recycling center located on Dogwood off of Evergreen.

Recycling Boxes

• Each room in the school should have one

• Only the clear plastic bags should used (this is what designates it to the Armark staff that it is to be handled as recycling)

• They should be placed next to the trash cans in the room (easier to find by cleaning staff)
