Club Med reached out to KRDS Shanghai for help to promote online to the Chinese public Club Med’s ski offering in a creative and innovative way.

On a WeChat microsite, users can join a Club Med Ski 1-minute race and compete with their WeChat friends.

Users can choose among 3 levels of difficulty to prove their skills !

KRDS’ SOLUTION

Users can tilt their phone to the right and left to control the skier, avoid obstacles and catch bonuses featuring Club Med’s benefits, thanks to the use of the phone’s gravity sensor.

The game leverages the WeChat API to retrieve users’ name and picture for the leaderboard.
