A Story About

MarriageWord of God: Marriage and Divorce

February 14, a day that this happy couple must remember, their monthsary.

Wayna and Rose is happily married for 2 years now. They promised that whatever may be, they must celebrate their monthsary together.

On the other hand, Rose was waiting for him to go to the restaurant but then, he didn’t. So, Rose went home alone.

It was the worst monthsary ever.

February 14 On the day of their monthsary, Wayna’s

boss gave him a lot of tasks for his job. He had so many appointments and meetings regarding the company’s improvement and the economic status.He had so many things to do that he forgot his date with his wife.

Wayna was awfully sorry for what he have done but Rose was ignoring him. So, he tried finding ways to make it up to Rose.

He was searching for the book that had some dating tips but then he didn’t saw it. Instead, he saw a bible.

He then opened the bible and there he read a story about Marriage and Divorce.

Marriage and Divorce

Matthew 19: 1-10

When Jesus finished these words, he left Galilee and went to the district of Judea across the Jordan. Great crowds followed him, and he cured them there. Some Pharisees approached him, and tested him, saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any cause whatever?”

He said in reply, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’

And said, ‘for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”

They said to him, “Then why did Moses command that the man give the woman a bill of divorce and dismiss [her]?”

He said to them, “Because of the hardness of your hearts Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it was not so. I say to you, whoever divorces his wife (unless the marriage is unlawful) and marries another commits adultery.”

[His] disciples said to him, “If that is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”

After reading the bible, Wayna was afraid that divorce might come in between him and Rose. He then asked for God’s help and prayed.

Dear God, as a humble man I come to you like a childNeeding your knowledge, your love and your guidance Lord,Thank you for trusting me with my own life's decisionsBut I'm just a man and I don't deserve this incredible life that you've given me

Jesus I need you Lord, I love you

Wayna was enlightened by God’s pity.He wrote a letter to Rose.Rose was over pleased and hugged Wayna.

Their marriage is more important than any other thing. They must not give up and stand for their love. They must never forget that God is their light.
