To navigate through this Tutorial use your mouse,

or Page Up or Down Key

Once you have placed one or more items in your cart and you are ready to check out, click “Cart Summary”.

This is a view of your current cart. Let’s look at some of the options available to you here.

Click here to “Save” your cart with a specific name you choose

You can click on the “Clear” button to clear the contents of your current cart.

DOD EMALL will give a name to the cart which is your user ID and a number or you can give the cart any name that would be an easy reference when checking on orders later

Be sure to click on save when naming your cart

You see that the cart now shows the name you have given it.

You see that the cart has been saved and now shows the name you have given it.

The “Send To” feature will allow you to send your cart to another person. If you are a shopper you can send the cart to another person for review to finalize your order, or send a copy of your cart for information purposes.

These are your Send To options:

If you know the DOD EMALL user ID, you can enter it here.

If you don’t know the user ID, you can browse here to find it.

Or you can send a snap shot of your shopping cart via email.

As you can see the email address has been populated

You can add a message to the body of the email.

Next click the “Send” button

If your unsure what the User Id of the individual you would like to send the cart to is then click on the go button

The choice was to use the Lookup User option. Enter the information you know, like Account ID, Email, First, or Last Name. Then click on Find. This person may have more than one account. Choose the one you want to send your cart to.

Click on go to enter anyone’s email address. This function will only send a read only copy

Click here to add or edit a memo to your cart.

Type your memo here if you want it to apply to the whole cart.

Typing your memo here will apply at the line item level only.

Your comments do not go with your order to the supplier, but they will be in your confirmation email.

When you are done adding information click on “Save Memo Edits” button

Your memo appears here.

See your memo has been imbedded into the cart.

Your line item memo has also been saved

Click here to generate a report for the items in your cart

As you can see if you merged your cart you can print the original Cart

The last selection is “Print Current Cart”.

If your cart was created from a checked out cart you can select Print Cart Justification.

This allows you to print a copy of your cart for your files or hard copy to submit for approval purposes. Click the “Print Link”

If you need to replace any items in your cart you can choose to “Re- Shop this Cart”

Click in the boxes of those items you wish to Re-SHOP and click on the Search button

By selecting a specific corridor for each of the item you can minimize your overall search parameters

As you can see I selected 2 items to Re-Shop.

These102 items are your current choices select those items you need

When you have finished selecting your item click on the Next Item button to complete the Re-Shop.

When you are ready to checkout, click on the “Checkout” button.

Click Here

The rule engine will analyze your cart to ensure it meets any catalog rules or service specific rules.

This screen will come up if you did not complete your

Express Settings at Registration or at

your first order

Complete the information

Click here to save these settings. If you do not with each and every order you will be required to fill out the information before checking

out

When finished click on the

next link

Your ship-to address should match the shopping properties you used to create your cart.

If you have entered your “Express Settings” information in your account, your address and payment information will be pre-filled. Or by checking the “Save to express settings” box, the information you fill out will be entered into your Express Checkout Settings.

Click on Next when finished

When you have items in your cart that are being purchased using Milstrip funding you will see this page, Select the “Priority Code” and “Advice Code” and click “Next”

Here you can select your priority code, advice code and project code

As you can see we are at the order summary page, it is here you can change your shipping address, billing address, payment method and finalize your order.

This field is mandatory for NAVFAC users, and these comments will be sent to the supplier. For everyone else they will only be seen in your confirmation email.

You will find out more on how to create your email address book in the “Account Options” tutorial.

In your Email list, you can select the people you would like notified that you have placed an order.

Click on Save

The selected email addresses will appear here.

Once you have completed entering your checkout information, click on “Place Order”

If you need to, you can save this order, and come back later. It will expire in five days if not placed.

These options are also at the top of the page

If you would like to change the quantities of any line item or the entire cart do so and click on either “Update Order Quantities” or “Update all Quantities”.

The Rule Engine will once again verify your cart to ensure it has met the catalog and service rules.

Congratulations! You have completed a DOD EMALL order.

If during registration process you chose to receive notifications from DOD EMALL , you will receive an order confirmation e-mail message.

It will contain all the details of your order by line item.

One day after placing an order, a Material Receipt Acknowledgment (MRA) will be available for you to input receipt status

You have completed the Check Out Options Tutorial. You are now
