Story of Hamlet The main story

of Hamlet is Danish prince whose uncle murdered the

prince’smarriedhis mother,andclaimed the throne. The prince pretended to feeble-minded to trap his uncle, then killed his

uncle in revenge.

Setting

The story takes place in the country of

Ophelia was a Polonius daughter

She was a sweet and innocent

young girl, who obeys her father

and her brother Laertes.

Gertrude

The Queen of Denmark Hamlet’s mother and recently married to Claudiues. Gertrude loves Hamlet deeply, but she is a weak woman who seeks affection and status rather than moral rectitude or truth.
