DescriptionThe 1U Rack-Mount CDC100A Down-Converter is part of SEMCO's C-Band series that has been designed to
meet the requirements of IRIG 106-11. The CDC100A accepts signals from 1415 to 2485 MHz and a C-Band
input from 4400 to 5250 MHz. The 1415 to 2485 MHz signals bypass the C-Band down-conversion circuits and
provide RF outputs through a high performance diplexer. The 4400-5250 MHz input signals are mixed with an
internal 5550 MHz Local Oscillator, that complies with IRIG 106-11 Tier II requirements, and output as an
inverted spectrum from 300 to 1150 MHz (C-IF Band).
Available configurations include the CDC100A-2 dual channel down-converter and the CDC100A-4 quad
channel down-converter.
CDCM100A Antenna Pedestal-Mounted Option - The CDC100A is available in a module design for installation in
antenna pedestals (CDCM100A-2). This configuration is an IP67-rated pressurized module with the same
excellent performance and features of the rack-mount 1U CDC 100A-2, and with the added ruggedized design to
withstand the harsh environmental conditions encountered when mounted to an antenna pedestal.
