COUNCILLOR’S REPORT Hydro One
• All work on resident’s lands has been completed• City staff and Hydro One have surveyed City land and are developing a
three year implementation plan for City Lands• 1st stage will be primarily trimming, with future work to include restoration• Most work will not start until 2019 • Thanks to members of the community for working hard to find a suitable
solution that will now be used throughout the city and in other centres.• Relations with Hydro One are now excellent
COUNCILLOR’S REPORT Herzberg and March Road Intersection
• Problem with the lights in individual lanes following the construction of the new bikelanes
• Staff have performed inspections and will be making other changes that involve:
o Signs being installed at signal heads o Electronic variable message displays o Optically programmable signal heads

• Originally needed railroad crossing but worked with Staff to remove this recommendation
• Solandt Road extension means new subdivisions will have route to get to Tech Park that doesn’t require long distance around Terry Fox
Construction of Water Main (Keyrock to Terry Fox) and parts of the GFR to urban standards. • GFR closed until the end of August
Update on KNL plans to start work on Phase 9, north of the Beaverpond
