They are required to:• Determine their future within section 75 regulations• Have a transparent review process demonstrating best

value, equality and proportionality• Award contracts using appropriate procurement

processes to deliver quality improvement• Mitigate risk of challenges• Determine contract periods• Put in place relevant contracts by April 2014.

• PCC can use its contracting expertise and experience in supporting CCGs

• Can design, set up and deliver a process to review enhanced services

• Expert but independent advice and experience• Give CCGs the capacity and capability to deliver • Dedicated project management• Deliver within the timescales required
