the BMV course (Category II) or equivalent training.

Course Outline Who should attend?
ObjectiveSelect the appropriate vibration analysis technique, instrumentation and measurements.
Perform diagnosis of waveforms, orbits, frequency spectra from single and multi-channel measurement.
Establish vibration monitoring programs for periodic and continuous monitoring included planning.
Establish programs for specifying vibration levels and acceptance criteria for new machinery.
Perform and understand the corrective actions, such as balancing and alignment.
Prepare reports , recommend, corrective action and effectiveness of repairs.
Technical Superintendent / Chief / Mechanic / Electrician, Maintenance Manager/
Staff who involve in direct maintenance, trouble shooting of rotating machinery
and want to enhance knowledge in best maintenance program and continuous
improvement.

The course will be start on day one to day four, from 9:00 to 17:00 and the
certification exam will be held on day five from 08:00 to 13:00.
Vibration Analyst Category III certification exam is optional and can be taken
separately.

from Alfred Agricultural & Technical College and an AAS degree from Monroe
Community College.
