CONCLUSIONI
La terapia con statine ad elevati dosaggi ha mostrato benefici precoci e significativi in pazienti con SCA
Il meccanismo d’azione nel breve termine sembra correlato ad effetti pleiotropici, indipendenti dalla riduzione dei livelli plasmatici di LDL-C
Le statine dovrebbero essere iniziate il più precocemente possibile e proseguite nel lungo termine
I migliori risultati prognostici nei pz con SCA sono ottenuti congiuntamente ad una strategia riperfusiva precoce con PCI
L’atorvastatina appare la molecola con maggiore evidenza di dati nel trattamento di pz con SCA
