We’re planning on introducing ‘Golf Sixes’ over the next few weeks- an initiative from CGI that we are participating in. It’s a scramble format played in 2 person teams, girls, boys & mixed over 6 holes. It culminates in a regional final on 22 August in Tuam. Hopefully great fun to be enjoyed by all!
Our first major of the season took place on Thursday last, when the girls played for Lady Captain, Mary Durcan’s prize to the Junior Girls on the Championship Course on a bright & breezy day.
