Parents,students,teachersandstaffareseeminglyoutragedthatdistrictpolicybelowisnotadheredtoorfollowedinsomeinstanceswithprofessionalsincertainpositions.Ithasbeenreportedthatalthoughthegrievanceprocedurewasfollowed,noactionwastakenandtheinformationreceivedasaresultofthegrievanceisthattherewasapersonalvendettaagainstMichelleGreen,CurriculumDirectorofShoemakerHighSchool,whoallegedlypassedpossessedanddistributedCaptainMorganOriginalSpicedRumandnapkinswithinappropriatesayingsontheShoemakercampuspriortothewinterbreak.

ParentsandstudentsareoutragedbecausetheyrememberanincidentinwhichachildwastakentotheemergencyroomduetoanalcoholrelatedincidentfromShoemakerHighSchool.Inaddition,thisalcoholcouldhavegottenintothehandsofstudents.Teachershadnochoicebuttoacceptagiftfromtheiradministrat

ornotknowingthatitwasanalcoholicbeverageandthereforetheywereplacedinadangeroussituation.Spouseswereupsetatthefactthatthealcoholicbeveragesinadditiontothenapkinswithinappropriatesayingsweredistributedtotheirspousesonaschoolcampus.

AlthoughthisisclearlyaviolationofthefollowingKISDpolicy,therewerenoconsequencesforMichelleGreenandtheteachersbeinggiventhealcoholicbeveragesareveryconcernedandsomeevenfearretaliationbecausetheyreportedit.Itistrulysadthatteachers,parentsandstudentsfromsurroundingdistrictsarealsoreportingthisinformation,thereforeitismorethanjustarumoritisafactthatthisalcoholwasdistributedonShoemakercampusandthereisthecontentionthatTomSchatteinvestigatedtheincidentanddismisseditasnothingmorethansomeonewithamerepersonalvendettaforMichelleGreen.

Iamwonderinghowmanystudentshavebeencharged,arrested,placedinalternative(DAEP),expelledorremandedtoJJAEPduetoaviolationoftheruleslistedbelowandwhyMichelleGreenreceivednoconsequencesforheractions.Inaddition,MichelleGreenalthoughthepurchasewasherownandvoluntarilypossessedanddistributedalcoholicbeveragesduringschoolhourstocontractemployees,somecontendthattherealsowereothersoncampuswhoparticipatedinthissametypeofactivity.

Asparents,teachers,staffmembers,studentsandjustconcernedcitizens,weareveryinterestedinknowingwhatthisboardandthisadministrationtendtodoaboutthisinvestigationthatproducednoconsequenceseventhoughtherearewitnessesandevidencethattheactwascommittedandwhattypeofprotectionfrom

retaliationwilltheseteachersandstaffmembershaveaftersharingtheirconcernsaboutpossessionanddistributionofalcoholicbeveragesoncampusbycampusadministrativestaff.

Sincethisboardhascontendedthatthegrievancepolicyisfair,weareaskingthisboardtotakethisincidentasseriouslyasitshouldhavebeentakenintheinvestigativestage.
