Evaluation Criteria

1. Alignment to the 2012 CA ELD Standards• The materials submitted for the ELD SIMR must

align to the 2012 ELD standards, as adopted by the SBE on November 7, 2012.

• The new ELD standards are available on the CDE ELD Standards Web page at http://www.cde.ca.gov/sp/el/er/eldstandards.asp. Submitted supplemental materials, in conjunction with the existing adopted grade-level materials, must address all of the subset of standards associated with each of the four key shifts outlined in the standards maps.
