The discipline of Neuroscience explores how the brain and nervous system function to generate behavior, emotion and cognition. As the function and development of the brain is highly complex and multi-faceted, exploring the complexity of the nervous system requires a highly interdisciplinary approach integrating biology, psychology, chemistry, physics and the humanities.
