1921Guy Laroche was born in “La Rochelle”, France.

1949Guy Laroche works for Jean Desses and becomes the assistant of this couturier.

1955Guy Laroche stays in the United States to study new ready-to-wear manufacturing methods.

1957Guy Laroche opens his own Fashion House.

1961Guy Laroche launches his first ready-to-wear collection and opens his first boutique in Paris.

1966 Guy Laroche launches the famous FIDJI perfume and his first GUY LAROCHE MONSIEUR boutique.

1980Launch of “Guy Laroche Timepieces” with a worldwide licensee in early the 80’s.

1985Guy Laroche is awarded his first Haute-Couture GOLDEN THIMBLE for his 1985 Fall-Winter Collection.

1989In January, Guy Laroche is awarded his second Haute-Couture GOLDEN THIMBLE for his 1989 Spring-Summer Collection. In February, Mr Laroche passes away.

2007Marcel Marongiu is appointed Artistic Director of the Fashion House. He succeeds designers such as Angelo Tarlazzi, Michel Klein or Alber Elbaz.

Nowadays, the Guy Laroche brand has extended from the high fashion field to various fashion industries, including perfume, jewelry, timepieces, shoes, leather goods, and so on.

Signature

The Signature watch case accentuates the elegance and beauty of this ladies' watch. The femininity is paired with the signature crown, band and buckle that gives it a new twist.

In 2008, Cheerful Group Ltd successfully obtained the license for Guy Laroche timepieces and took this brand to a new level of high fashion. Cheerful repackaged the brand by combining the traditional, artist watch designs with a modern touch, illuminating Guy Laroche with a unique, haute couture aura.

In view of the different market needs, Guy Laroche Timepieces has designed two product lines, one “Swiss Made” and one for the “Far East”. Each line is composed of several references. The Swiss made line: Signature, Racer, Unique, Harmony, Heritage, Ceramic, Glamour, Club. The Far East line: Dignite, Dynamic, Elegance, Riviera.
