Meeting and Greeting Etiquette: When meeting shake hands firmly. When departing it is not always customary to shake hands although it is practised occasionally.

Friends and relations would greet each other with either one or two kisses on the cheek. Elders are always respected by kissing their right hand then placing the forehead onto the hand.

Kocaeli, province is a of Turkey. İzmit centrum of the Kocaeli which is also sometimes called Kocaeli. The largest towns in the province are İzmit and Gebze The traffic code is 41. The province is located at the easternmost end of the Marmara Sea around the Gulf of İzmit. Kocaeli is bordered by the province of Sakarya and the Marmara Sea to the west, the Black Sea to the north, the province of Istanbul the east, the province of Bursa to the south and the province of Yalova to the southwest. The metropolitan area of Istanbul extends to the Kocaeli-Istanbul provincial border. The size and natural conditions of the Bay of İzmit allow for extensive port facilities, including the Gölcük Naval Base. The province is called the industrial capital of Turkey. Kocaeli has an airport named Cengiz Topel Naval Air Station which is used for military and civilian transport. Kocaeli has two universities: Kocaeli University and Gebze Technical University.

AIESEC Visa is special for Turkey. It is not a normal visa or tourist visa.

EP should go to Turkish Embassy with Invitation Letter for get AIESEC Visa. AIESEC Visa is 40-60 euro.

For EP to be part of in social responsibilty project in Turkey.

If EP does not take it, EP won’t come here.

Global VillageGlobal Village culturel activity in shopping mall. You should bring traditional clothes, traditional gift, traditional food and your flag. You will show your culture with presentation to other people. We will do Global village day for 2-3 times so you should bring different things.

Why is the Myself My World Project?

The Myself My World Project is about making high school students more aware of themselves and around the world. We have vision as AIESEC so this vision about the young people such as you know. If you want tochange the World, we should change ourselves and we need be part of the changing. If these students of the highschools developing themselves, our World can develop because these guys we are next generation.

What will you do in Myself My World Project?

You should imagine that you are at congress. This congress about developing themselves who part of thiscongress. Your audiences are high school students. You are trainer for giving some skills to high schoolstudents. You will make presentation and workshops about your culture, democracy, education system, personaldevelopment, presentation skills, Chrisis Management, effective communication etc.

Myself My World

This Project is about improve the level of English and perspective to develop to society. The project is realized in a cafe. Only english is spoken in the cafe and Turkish speakers are penalty. Each table has English dictionaries. Allintern should learn to english who people coming cafe. Created discussions about current topics and films. According to the profile of a person who plays games. We have plan about the cafe. This planning about what will we do in cafe every time and how we will do that and why we are doing. For example, movie night will be organized by cafe on monday and karaoke night will be organized by cafe on tuesday and culture night is the same.Besides, social activities are held once a week outside of the cafe.

Why is Break Up The Barriers Project?

Break Up The Barriers is a project which has been written by LC Kocaeli by the year 2006 and has been an effective project until now. This project about disable children. We are not different human and we have vision in this life. Everyone deserves a happy life. All people say disable children are disable but this project wants to Show to all people‘’Disable children is not disable. We are different just as physcal. ‘’

What will you do in Break Up The Barriers Project?

You will go to rehabilitation center and then you will teach to english basic level who coming that from children at rehabilitation center with dram or pictures etc. The project is purpose positive impact to children. We trust your creativemindset and ideas. Because it is very difficult teach english to children but very valuable.

Why is ConsultN’GO Project?

According to researches, the NGO Managers in Turkey, lead the organizations with passion, but most of them have lack of management skills which makes their NGOs low impactful. AIESEC brings in this project, international interns (university students from 18-30 years or recent-graduated) to apply their knowledge in those organizations to make them more efficiency in order to make them have more results and bring more impact to the society.

What will you do in ConsultN’GO Project?

Working with mid-sized NGOs in Turkey, the project aims to develop their performance through providing management consultancy. With a cooperation with AIESEC, international interns with management background are coming from different countries to develop topics like Structure, Marketing, Human Resources, Finance Structure, Financial Business Model (for a Social Sustainable organization), Strategy, Planning, Process optimization and creating performance indicators.
