Integrating Waypoint with Blackboard Vista

Log in to a Bb Vista course in which you are an instructor

Add the ‘Go To Waypoint’ file to a course page (any page)

1. Select ‘Build’ Mode

2. Choose ‘Browse for Files’ from the Add File option

5. Check GoToWpCOAS.HTM

6. Click ‘Ok’

7. Click ‘Keep Subscriptions to all Files’

Now you will have a link on your Vista page that connects you to Waypoint

You can rename it, ‘hide’ it from students etc. Switch to ‘Teach’ mode Click the link

Synchronize Student Rosters (any time)

Students AND Teaching Assistants

Authenticates Instructors, TAs, and Students

Grading, assessment, self-assessment, peer review

Allows an instructor/TA/Student to retrieve submissions to Blackboard (Word docs etc)

Returns Numeric Grades and Feedback to Vista

To begin using Waypoint to evaluate students, you

need a Waypoint Assignment.

Basically, you can fix typographical errors. You cannot add new Elements, or change the mapping of existing Elements to Competencies

Log into an active Course as an instructor/faculty member

Click on a WpAssessment Click on the Waypoint logo

Turn off popup blockers for subjectivemetrics.com

Click Synch Student Roster

Select the desired Courses (list is from Moodle)

Click Continue
