BIOMASS – RENEWABLE ENERGIES

INTRODUCTION

PALSERRINSA is set up in 1981 as a biomass treatment company by grilling olive, eucalyptus and pine tree minced firewood. One of its main clients are brick factories and steam boilers, since these were damaged by the oil cost increase.

We have 50.000m2 facilities to store our products, making them available at any moment and season of the year.

BIOMASS DEFINITION

• Organic material grown in an spontaneous or induced biological process used an energy source. Plants turn sun light energy into chemical energy and this is stored as organic material.

• Thermal applications with heat and sanitary hot water production are the most common within the biomass field. Nevertheless it can also be used to produce energy.

This is the product that we develop through a drying process, performing analysis and guaranteeing parameters related to humidity, ashes, calorific power I and gravimetric analisis. It can be supplied in bulk and in 15kg sacks. We count on all kind of trucks for this supply.
