My choice of ‘The Biochemist’ covers.The middle one is my favourite, and a challenge to create – it had to emphasise the technological advances in artificial intelligence taking the place of animals in laboratory experiments, in a series of topics considered controversial and sensitive.

A couple of flyers/HTML’s I favoured.Converted to HTML emails and web adverts they always appear recognisably similar to their respective flyers in the run-up to the event/workshop/seminar.Each month would be required to update the Biochemical Society Event page (http://www.biochemistry.org/Events.aspx) and the Biochemical Society Blog (https://biochemicalsociety.wordpress.com)

The re-designed Annual Report. My favourite piece of work as it embodied all that I enjoy about my work. Image-finding (via shutterstock), creating alternatives to the usual bar graphs and charts, the use colour and space and the fact that it can be viewed in print and online (http://www.biochemistry.org/ezine/bsannualreport2013-14/index.html).
