The Indians have seen white men but the Indians never seen a man like York.York was a slave of Clarks but Clark did not act like York had to do everything. York was taken away from his family when he was young but York was not bitter about being taken away from his family.

Seaman

Seaman was Lewis dog. Lewis bought Seaman on the trip Lewis was Really happy when he bought Seaman one spring it was raining so hard they had to move to a nearby Indian village. The village people where selling dogs and the men where happy so Lewis and Clark bought some dogs and ate them for dinner they ate all the dogs except Seaman.

Clark

Clark was one of the men that lead the expedition. Of the Louisiana territory.Clark got picked by his friend Meriwether Louis and Clark. Clark Said yes Lewis and Clark ask Thomas Jefferson how many men should take? Thomas Jefferson said take 20 men Lewis and Clark both thought that was not a enough men when Louis and Clark picked there men Thomas Jefferson told then to write in a journal everyday.

April 30 1803The USA was double in size when Jefferson bought the Louisiana Territory from Napoleon and that is how all began with the expedition when the to scouts asked Tomas Jefferson was this a good deal Thomas Jefferson said heck yeah.

July 30 1805

In July 30 1805 the corps of discovery held a meeting with the Sioux at the end of the meeting the Sioux where not happy the Sioux leader called all his people to get ready to fight but Sioux the Sioux chief did not attack The Chief called off his people and the expedition kept going.

The Corps left camp Dubois.

March 23

The corps start to go back home.

June 24

The corps made it back to The rocky mountains
