Quick and Easy: Step by step instructions on how to register for TSTC classes online

Warning: These steps are intended for students currently enrolled at TSTC, as the process requires the students username and password.

Need to register for classes but don't have the time to run over to school? Well fret not, for these 10 easy

instructions are going to teach you how to register online for your classes at TSTC so you can enjoy the comforts of

registering at your own pace. Any time, day or night, register when its convenient for you.

NOTE: Before registering, it will be necessary to have your course curriculum handy as some of the information on it will be needed.

Step 1:First thing to do is to type the following

address, www.harlingen.tstc.edu,

into your internet address bar. Upon

arrive to the site, click on the MyTSTC link,

located on the top menu bar.

Step 2:Next, type in your TSTC

username and password in the

appropriate box in the upper left hand

corner.

Step 3:After the next page loads, click on the WebAdvisor tab

located on the top menu bar.

Step 4:On the next page, click the Student link in the horizontal menu. It will quickly pass you to

another page where you click on the Register for Sections link under the Registration group.

Step 5:The next page is like a fork in the road. If

you know the exact information of your

classes then you can go to the Express

Registration. However, for these instructions

you’ll learn about searching for sections. So click on the Search and

Register for sections link. From here on you will

need your Course Curriculum sheet.

Step 6:Using your Course Curriculum sheet, fill out all necessary information boxes, by using the pull

down arrows next to each. A fast way is to fill out the Term, Subject, Course Level, Course

Number, Section, Sections Meeting After

and Location boxes only.

Step 7:The next page will display a list of available

classes that meet your search criteria. When you’ve chosen a class,

click the box under the Select section, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit

button.

Step 8:On the next page, pull down

the Action tab and click Register.

When you’re all set scroll down and

click Submit.

Step 9:This next page will give you a recap

for what you just registered for. When

you’ve double checked it, click the OK button.

Step 10:Now all that’s left is to repeat steps 1-9 until you have your desired school schedule for

the next semester.

Congratulations! You are now registered for class. Now that you know the steps, you can

register for your semesters anytime you want as long as you are a student at TSTC. No more

stressing time to try and get an appointment to talk to a counselor or running from school and work just to register. With the knowledge you

now possess, you can register when it's convenient to you. Congratulations!
