For the launch of AOC India's new range of tablets in the Indian market, the brand was looking for an original and innovative way to introduce the products via social. AOC's agency, KRDS India, chose Twitter as the platform to announce the launch. The agency took a unique proposition: to give the launch pad to the Twitter audience itself and coin it as #Tweet2launch.

Background:

AOC was coming up with their range of Tablets and wanted to launch the product via Social

The BIG Question:

Twitter was chosen as the platform to announce the launch but the question looming was to generate enough excitement & Buzzword in the Twitter universe.

The Solution:

Team KRDS took a unique proposition where they gave the launch pad to the Twitter audience itself and coined it as #Tweet2launch

A microsite was thus created featuring a pre decided Launch Date. Users needed to tweet with the hashtag and every hashtag would bring the counter down by a certain number (real time).

In a nutshell, users were the ones to chose the Launch date with #Tweet2Launch
