2nd Corinthians5 20 We are therefore Christ's

ambassadors, as though God weremaking his appeal through us. Weimplore you on Christ's behalf: Bereconciled to God.21 God made him who had no sin to besin for us, so that in him we mightbecome the righteousness of God.

6 1 As God's fellow workers we urge you

not to receive God's grace in vain.2 For he says, "In the time of my favor Iheard you, and in the day of salvation Ihelped you." I tell you, now is the time ofGod's favor, now is the day of salvation.3 We put no stumbling block in anyone'spath, so that our ministry will not bediscredited.4 Rather, as servants of God wecommend ourselves in every way: ingreat endurance; in troubles, hardshipsand distresses;5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; inhard work, sleepless nights and hunger;6 in purity, understanding, patience andkindness; in the Holy Spirit and insincere love;7 in truthful speech and in the power ofGod; with weapons of righteousness inthe right hand and in the left;8 through glory and dishonor, bad reportand good report; genuine, yet regardedas impostors; 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying,and yet we live on; beaten, and yet notkilled; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor,yet making many rich; having nothing,and yet possessing everything.

The Psalms 51 1 Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. 4 Against you, you only,

have I sinned and done what is evil in your sight, so that you are proved right when you speak and justified when you judge. 5 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. 6 Surely you desire truth in the inner parts ; you teach me wisdom in the inmost place. 7 Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. 8 Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. 9 Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity. 10Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
