DESCRIPTION

A talk given at UXCamp Europe 2014. How should UX professionals approach accessibility on the web? My message is that the focus on guidelines and technical demands is neither motivating, nor is it the best sollution. Designers should de what they do best: design. To do that they need to understand the needs of users, and the tools they use. Universal design is the place to start. I'm sorry for not having a transcript or audiorecording of my talk at this time. Please contact me and I would be happy to talk to you about it. Thanks to Wilhelm Joys Andersen @wilhelmja, Ida Jackson @virrvarr and Ida Aalen @idaaa for help with slides and arguments. Also a big thanks to the participants at UXCamp in Berlin for the opportunity to talk about this topic! http://www.uxcampeurope.org/

1) Place the tie around your neck. The wide end should be about 30-35 cm longer than the narrow end of the tie. Let the wide end cross over the narrow end.

2) Fold the wide end around and behind the narrow end of the tie.
