Strathroy & District Right to Life will be having
their Annual Life Chain Sunday, October 6 starting at 1pm –
2pm. It’s as silent protest against abortion. Our country has
no protection for the unborn children. Please support this
unjust practice. All Saints parishioners are asked to come to
the corner of Caradoc & Metcalfe Street. This protest is all
along Caradoc St. from Front to Carroll St.
“To everything there is a season and time to every purpose
under heaven.”
A time to be born…..keep in your prayers all expecting mothers and
the unborn children. Keep in your prayers the newly baptized children
and their families.
A time to love…keep in your prayers the couples who are preparing
for the sacrament of Marriage.
A time to heal… Please pray for our parishioners, family, friends who
are sick… Margaret Blondin, Helen Diesbourg, Roy Gouveia,
Gabrielle Stringer, Dina DaSilva, Gilda Moniz, and all who are sick
and suffering.
A time to die….
Keep in your prayers Amelia Maria Silvestre+, mother of
Maria Carreiro may she all our dearly departed rest in peace.
Sacramental Preparation
Preparation for 1st Reconciliation (Confession) at
All Saints for all 3 parishes Saturday, October
26th 9:30am-11:45am AND November 16th 9:30am-
11:45am.
Volunteers Needed...
If you are available to help with childcare for Oct 26 &
Nov 16 from 9:30am-11:45am, also looking for help with

The movie UNPLANNED is being shown in Sarnia
at the Sarnia Library (2nd floor theatre) on Christina
Street and in Forest, at the Kineto Theatre on King
Street. Sarnia Wednesday October 9th, and Thurs-
day October 17th ~ Forest Thursday October 10th.
All show times are 7:00 p.m. This movie was recently shown in
London to frequently sold out audiences. This is a very well done
production and serves as a moving witness to one woman’s conver-
sion story following her experience working in the abortion indus-
try. The movie is rated 14A. A goodwill offering only will be asked
for; a suggested $10.00 adult/$5 student is a guide.(14+ must be
accompanied by an adult). Please consider attending.
Donations - Emergency Relief in the Bahamas
It is with great sadness and concern that we have learned
of the extensive damage left behind by the hurricane and
tropical storm in the Bahamas. I am always amazed by
the generosity of the people of our diocese at the time of
a natural disaster, and ask you to support emergency re-
lief efforts for victims of the hurricane and tropical
storm in the Bahamas through collections that will be
taken up in our parishes. Once again, we will work with
the Canadian Catholic Organization of Development and
Peace (CCODP) in ensuring that the funds collected are
safely delivered. Development and Peace is working in
collaboration with the Caritas members in the region.
Along with the funds, prayers are urgently needed at this
time for the victims and their families. Your prayers,
generosity, and assistance are greatly appreciated.
Bishop Fabbro
Feast of our Lady of Fatima, for our Family
of Parishes, will be taking place at All Saints
church site from October 16-20th. If you are
interested in going, please pick up a booklet after
Mass today. This booklet explains what the festival
is all about, as well as having a schedule of all the events taking
place. Dinner tickets are also being sold at All Saints Parish
office. Don’t miss this fabulous event and come join us at the
festival.
Thanksgiving Appeal 2019 With our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend approaching, it is time to reflect on all the gifts we have been given and also to keep in mind those less fortunate than us. The month of October is also designated to the Annual Thanksgiving Appeal. The Thanksgiving season challenges us to look on our blessings and to look forward to all we have to be thank-ful for in the coming year within our parish Family. This is the time of year we are asked to prayerfully discern giving back to our parish family of All Saints through our Annual Thanksgiving Appeal. These funds will stay in the parish to support our many minis-tries and for the upkeep of our building and grounds. Please prayerfully consider making a donation this year. We thank you for your generosity.

The first episode of the new Salt + Light TV show, "This
Place," features the Diocese of London. The show premiered
on television on Wednesday evening, and has now been made
available online. There is more great content that will be com-
ing to that page in about a week's time, namely, an interview
with Bishop Fabbro, and another with Fr. Peter Keller filmed
at St. Peter's Seminary.
Thank you to the parishes and ministries who were involved in
the filming, and a big thanks goes to Salt + Light Catholic Me-
dia for the national exposure gained for our diocese. There is
already talk of a follow-up visit from S+L some day in the fu-
ture.
