BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Blood Donation Camp was organized on 28-06-2016. The gift of Blood is the gift

of life. So many students gifted life for many. Our Principal gave the speech about the

value of blood.

YISION AWARENESS CAMP

Vision Awareness Camp conducted on 05-10-2016. Vision is the light for the human

being. So creating awareness is the pleasure of our college Principal, NSS students and NSS

co-ordinators were conducted Awareness Camp.

II\TERNATIONAL DAY ON DISASTER REDUCTTON

On 13-10-2016 International day on Disaster Reduction was celebrated by NGM

students which was organized by NSS co-ordinators. Principal was very supportive for

conducting this programme.

AUTISM AWAREI\ESS RALLY

Autism Awareness Rally was conducted on21-10-2016. Our respected principal gave

a valuable speech about Autism and effects of Autism. This rally conducted by Saranalayam

and NSS co-ordinators of NGM College. It started with Sub collector office to NGM College

NATIONALVOTER'S DAY

Jan 25,2017 The National Voter's Day was celebrated at NGM College which was

presided by the college Principal Dr.P.M. Palanisamy. at this event the Voter's Pledge

pamphlet was distributed to all the students by NSS Co-ordinators. Followed by all the

students took voters pledge patriotically. It was organized by NSS co-ordinators

Mr.K.Harishankar Mrs. Sivanarutselvi and Mr.RSomasundaram.

DRA.P.J.ABDUL KALAM BIRTHDAY . TREE PLANTATION

In the month of October, the NSS co-ordinators and volunteers organized a one day

programme, to plant many trees in and around our college premises for the remembrance of

Dr.A.P.J.AbdulKalam. The chief gust Thiru.V.Ganesan I.S.F, chief conseryator of forests and

Field Director Anamalai Tiger reserve, pollachi delivered the address about this programme.

The Principal Dr.P.M.Palanisamy gave a speech on diligent and humbleness of

Dr.A.P.J.AbdulKalam.

DEIYGUE AWARENESS CAMP

A Dengue Awareness Camp was organized by NSS Volunteers on 3l-08-2016 .It

started with our principal valuable speech about Dengue awareness camp. People were made

' aware of the dengue, spread by Mosquitoes and they should keep their surrounding clean to

breeding of mosquitoes.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

On 15-08-2016, the T06lndependence Day was celebrated with gaiety in our college

campus. The Principal addressed to the students with optimistic thoughts and the Cultural

programmers were conducted. All the NSS students, staff members of the college and NSS

co-ordinators Mr.K.Harishankar, Mrs. Sivanarutselvi and Mr.RSomasundaram were

participated in this function with full energy.

GREENAWARENESS CAMP

The Green Awareness Camp was conducted on 28.10.2016.The main

objective of this camp was to increase public awareness about the environmental

issues. Our principal has given valuable information about the Greenery. NSS

students planted number of plants around the campus.

ANTI-RAGGTNG AWAREI\ESS RALLY

Anti-Ragging Awareness Rally was conducted on 17-09-2016.Today ragging

may have become deep rooted in the Indian educational setup. An act of treating with

rudeness should be stopped. So our honourable Sub-Collector of Pollachi and our respected

Principal gave a valuable speech about Anti ragging. NSS volunteers and coordinators went

for the aw,reness Rally.

AI\TI- DRUG AWARENESS RALLY

Anti-Drug Awareness Rally was jointly organised by NSS and MSW Students on

27-01-2017. Our principal gave a fulI support for conducting the awareness rally.

IIELMET AWARENESS PROGRAM

Helmet awareness programme was conducted on 03-0L-2017 by NSS students and

coordinators to protect ourselves from accidents. Students wearing helmet were participated

in rally of giving awareness about wearing helmet. Wearing helmet is necessary while driving

says Principal Dr.PM.Palanisamy.

ROAD SAT'ETY AWARENESS

On2-l-17 RTO of Pollachi and NSS volunteers of NGM College joined together and

organised the Road safety awareness Programme.

DIGTTAL INDIA- ONLINE PAYMENT (VISAKA)

Digital India is a campaign to ensure that Government services are made available to

citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet

connectivity. Students got awareness through this programme, conducted on30 -12-2016.

SPECIAL CAMP

Three units of NGM College NSS students organized a special camp on the theme

"Healthy Youth for Healthy India" at G.Kaliapuram, Kaliamman Kovil and Kollapatti

villages from 13.03.2017 to 19.03.2017.This Camp focused on the various Awareness

Programme related to Human Values, Environmental awareness, Awareness on first Aid

Demonstration etc., The Free Medical Camp, Tree Plantation also conducted by the NSS

Volunteers at these Villages.
