Before AGS NOW2 kindergarten groups:

One preparatory group taught in Romanian- No food- No educational materials- No toys- No current water/ poor

infrasctructure- Low frequency: 8-10

children out of 18 enrolled children

One in Hungarian- Extended program- Feeding- Educational materials- Good infrastructure- Good frequency

3 kindergarten groups

1.The preparatory group with Romanian as the main language of instruction: increased frequency from 8-10 chlidren/per day to 15-17 children /per day in this group out of 21 children

2. One NEW group, started in AGS project, for kids 3-4 Years , taught in Romanian

3.For the group taught in Hungarian the quality has increased. 4 Roma children are attending to it and they can benefit from the extended program. Throughout the AGS project we paid the nutrition for them.

Important Achievements

1. Newly set up kindergarten group taught in Romanian for children

2. Established for the first time creche/ nursery services for children of 0-3 – under accreditation process

3. Improved daily rate of attendance (from 16% to 72 %) in kindergarten

4. School readiness is improved5. Available services for parents 6. Sustainability, institutionalisation of AGS

initiatives (with the support of the local authorities)
