The Commercial UAV Show will attract visitors from a range of industries who will come to learn about the enormous potential of this technology. They will come to learn from a range of case studies presented in five theatres about how people in many sectors are saving money and achieving vast increases in productivity and reliability through careful application of UAV systems and technology. They will learn how almost anyone with significant scale or expanse of facilities or infrastructure can benefit from a UAV system.
As a manufacturer in this sector, it presents an ideal opportunity to share ideas with existing customers, and meet potential new ones. One of the most exciting elements to the show is that it will highlight the new applications of tomorrow that you’ve not even thought of yet. Some of the benefits that the show will highlight include applications in agriculture and farming, oil and gas, mining, conservation, border security and policing, national infrastructure (rail, road, power grid networks), to mention but a few.
Our visitor promotion campaign aims to bring in a range of visitors from small and large organisations across the United Kingdom. In addition, our Hosted Buyer programme will attract select buyers from Western Europe. They will be united in their interest in what UAV technology can do for them.

Our strategy will include both inbound and outbound marketing.
Inbound content led marketing
Alongside our live events we manage 25 industry specific communities. They provide a year round online platform to bring people together, share ideas and distribute information.
We will build a community of current and future UAV operators. To start with the community will consist of a blog, weekly newsletter and LinkedIn group.
As the community grows this can be expanded to include Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites as appropriate to engage with our target audience.
We will create content for the community in partnership with the event partners to provide an ongoing source of information on the development of UAVs and their practical use in the commercial environment.
Traditional outbound marketing
Through our network of offices and events we maintain a sales database of over 3 million records. We have already started to build a database of current and future UAV operators to ensure we have a list of the key companies and contacts working this space.
Our multi-channel marketing campaign aims to present the event to a global audience.
Direct Mail – We will design tickets to highlight the people, companies and content of the event and distribute them by direct mail.
Inserts – We will identify relevant publications to insert show tickets to get a broad distribution in are target industries.
Online – The event will have a dedicated website where we will direct an extensive online marketing campaign.
We will send email updates to our internal database once every 3 weeks covering the key speakers, themes and updates. We will also send emails at regular intervals to go out to our event partners.
The event will be listed on all online industry event calendars, included banner adverts where appropriate.
Advertisements – We will schedule a number of print adverts over the campaign with our media partners.
Press and PR – National and international news sources will be kept up to date with developments and invited to attend the event.
Telesales – Our dedicated in house telesales team will be working with our partners to secure the attendance of our target companies and individuals.

Central to the visitor proposition is a range of industry keynotes, case studies, and product presentations that will let visitors learn about the enormous potential of UAV technology to their sector.
In addition to the main keynote theatre, featuring industry leaders, there will be four presentation theatres. Our aim is to present a wide variety of case studies, product presentations and keynotes that will demonstrate the range of capabilities of UAV technology. We also hope that the presentations will dispel some of the myths and concerns around use of UAV systems.
We will be filling the programme with case studies in the main target areas mentioned earlier, and will also be inviting our sponsors and exhibitors to invite their partners and clients as well.
In bringing the whole industry together we will raise the profile of UAV applications across a wide range of industries.
