ABOUT PROJECT:
The objective of this project is to manage the control
system of railway gate using the microcontroller.
When train arrives at the sensing point alarm is triggered at the railway crossing point so that the people get intimation that gate is going to be closed.
The model of railway track controller is designed by
using 8952 µcontroller to avoid railway accidents.

The AT89C52 is a low-power, high-performance CMOS
8-bit µcontroller
8K bytes of Flash programmable and erasable read only
memory (PEROM)
With ram 256 Bytes
1000 Write/Erase cycles which means that it can be erased
and programmed to a maximum of 1000 times
STEPPER MOTOR (L293D):
The stepper tutorial deals with the basic final stage drive
circuitry for stepping motors.
This circuitry is centered on a single issue, switching the
current in each motor winding on and off, and controlling
its direction.
VIBRATION SENSOR:
An accelerometer is a device that measures the vibration
The force caused by vibration or a change in motion
(acceleration) causes the mass to "squeeze" the
piezoelectric material which produces an electrical charge.
It is proportional to the force exerted upon it.
ADVANTAGES:
Accident avoidance
Human safety
Accurate service
With out human interface
CONCLUSION:
The accidents are avoided at places where there is no
human to manage the railway crossing gates.
Here we use the stepper motor to open and close the gates
automatically when it rotates clockwise or anticlockwise
direction to operate the gate automatically.
