The Clearwater Gravity-flow water system provides pure spring water to over 17,000 villagers located in Bugamba sub-county, south-western Uganda. 80 kms of pipeline along 12 branch-lines feed 201 tapstands. All trenching was dug by hand (and hoe) by community volunteers.
CIDA now quadruples every dollar donated to ACTS for rural water supply.
