Inverted Magnetron gauges will be discussed with particular reference to improved accuracy, increased immunity to electrical interference and their ease of interface to computers. Such gauges have a particular relevance to the implementation of large vac- uum systems such as accelerators and the design of industrial vacuum equipment.
