Danjiribune Boats of Owari-Tsushima Tenno Festival
Five floats with gorgeous tapestries and fine sculptures are pulled into the ocean at low tide with great fanfare.
Floats of Kamezaki Shiohi Festival
The floats are highlighted by Bunraku puppet plays and Karakuri mechanical puppet plays.
Bunraku and Karakuri Floats of Chiryu Festival
Held since the Edo Period, this fes- tival features karakuri mechanical puppets dancing on the floats. The highlights are the “Donden” float turning and the evening parade of floats festooned with paper lanterns.
