Great Expectations

● 8 Expectations

● These are our expectations for student behavior in the classroom and around the school

● We use lots of reminders, positive reinforcement, and redirection

Behavior Expectations

● Students manage their behavior each month using a “ticket” system

● For each “lost” ticket, the student sets a goal for future behavior that aligns with Great Expectations

● Consequences are situation and child-specific

● Students who keep a specified number of tickets each month are invited to join in grade-wide celebrations for good behavior

MVP Passes

Students will receive a MVP Pass for exemplifying the Life Principles in class, hallways, the cafeteria and at recess.

Students receiving a pass will be recognized weekly on the announcements and at our Rise and Shine Assembly.
