Boys Preparatory Academy Mission: In a single gender environment, we will deliver an Education which will inspire and empower young men to master rigorous academic standards by instilling in them a strong work ethic and expecting them to model core values in both school and community. Each grade was distinctive by the color tie they wore. 6th grade blue, 7th grade red, and blue, 8th

grade blue and white ties, and bow-ties indicate upper classmen.

Students here have earned and are rewarded with house pins for various accomplishments. These house pins are cashed in later for prizes.

Mr. Gauthier Science Class

Mr. Gauthier science class where his students are engaged in powerful learning from the delivery of high quality instructions. Students expand the minds through hands on learning, with experiments like observing a hard boil egg penetrate a glass vase with a small diameter top.

The teacher was engaging the students in mathematics.

Data Walls

This class room was rich in print with data walls and other educational charts displayed that showed the progress of all students from the beginning of the school year to the end.

Mock Trial

Students preparing for a mock trial involving which court character they wish to be. The students have to do the research on that character and present a report to the class.

Mr. Johnson Talk to a Scholar

Mr. Johnson is talking to a student about how technology deepens the student’s appreciation of classroom work by seeing the practical application of curriculum in the real world environment. As technology evolves so too does its education application. Good luck young man!

This is monument that was donated by a retired veteran of community Hillsborough County.

Orange Grove Magnet Middle School of the Arts

Orange Grove Middle School MissionAt Orange Grove Middle Magnet School of the Arts success is the expectation. They seek to empower well-rounded individuals through all disciplines. They will create a community of respect and sensitivity while fostering an appreciation of the role of Arts in life. They will accomplish their Vision by:

• Maintaining a standard of excellence for every student • Broadening student experiences in Arts and Academics• Promoting a creative and artistic approach to learning• Fostering a creative, cooperative environment• Providing experience and training in all content areas that goes beyond

what is offered in traditional middle school curriculum• Encouraging active involvement of students, parents and the community• Embracing the critical role we play in the K-12 Fine Arts Program

This will empower all students to become respectful, successful lifelong learners and productive citizens.

Mission and Vision Statement

• Mission- They will promote responsible citizenship and student success by providing a relevant, rigorous, and unique learning experience, and by linking curricula to create real-world applications.

• Vision- Their graduates will take ownership for their education, be globally aware, and have the necessary skills to succeed in high school and beyond in a technologically advanced society.

STEM Program

Learning, through the STEM Program now has vision and meaning. Students are exposed to and consider career choices in the STEM program, so that by the time they enter the workforce, they will be able to contribute solutions to the world’s global and economic challenges. The STEM program is for 6th, 7th and 8th

graders who will be with the same student and teacher cohort throughout their middle school experience. All STEM classes are advanced placement courses.
