3.5.1 Report on Number of Collaborative activities for research,

Faculty exchange, Student exchange/ internship per year.

Arya Institute of Engineering and Technology-Jaipur (Referred as AIET) holds good engagements in

activities which can provide student exposure in Industries, Companies, and Corporate Houses

through filed visits etc. Since college have given much emphasis to placements, the induction of

regular interactive session by personalities from Academics, Art & Culture, and Science etc visits

campus on regular basis.

In terms of Faculty exchange, Faculties go to Infosys Campus Connect programme every year which

is held in Chandigarh. Here faculties get trained with other colleges faculties on Cloud computing,

Hadoop and IT framework to understand the Industry requirements, the feedback from faculties in

regard to this programme is always been encouraging, AIET collaborates with Infosys since years in

terms of placements and training programme for faculties,

Student Internships:-

Students are encouraged to pursue internships as it help a lot in getting a better job and in final

placements. Internship is taken care by Training and placement cell of AIET. Student from final year

also undergo training before resuming final jobs in respective companies like In time tech and

ConsultAdd Pune through e based internships, these also make them eligible to get stipends. Rest

student undergo summer and winter training which happen in organizations like BHEL, NTPC,

Thermal Power station, Rajasthan Electricity Board, BSNL, IT Companies like Cyntexa-Jaipur, Dot

Squares , CAD Centre Jaipur to name some of them.

Student need to obtain the letter from the T&P cell for applying into internships. Some student

chooses companies on their own which is later verified by T&P cell before issuing the letter for the

same.

Research Based Activities:-

AIET holds one of the finest labs in regards to R&D and to encourage activities of research

and innovative practices in the campus. College have invested heavily in the infrastructure

to boost the morale of upcoming technocrats through lab based practical learning.

AIET have machines like SMT (Surface Mounting Machines), Laser Cutting Machines, 3D

Printer, Moulding Machine, and Indigenous PCB manufacturing assembly line.

Collaborative activities:-

AIET associates with Dell EMC for IT workshops and CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) .

Regular conferences and webinar keep happening and personnel’s from T&P cell and College

management attends to these forums’ on regular basis. Arya College showcase its R&D activities in

these forums’ where Industry and government people visit. Our robotics and AI concepts have been

largely praised by visitors and officials. Student demonstrates projects they made and which are

commercially viable to use.
