It is of little good if you and I can declare and defend the

truth of the Gospel but fail to show it in the way we live. “They claim to know God, but by

their actions, they deny Him.”- Titus 1:16

Colossians 3:1-2

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

Colossians 3:12-17

12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

spiritually dead

How do I know if I’m doing God’s will?

One answer is the peace of Christ

in your heart.

“… and through Him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.”

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Let the Word of Christ dwell (feel at home) in you richly.

“Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord”
