• To provide an overview of the content, tools, information and resources available in these sections of the website

Session purpose

• Overview of the sections in detail• Gain an understanding of what tools and

resources are available• Navigate the sections and locate required

information• Explain the site contents to others

Session objectives

Careers

• Information on possible careers and minimum skills required

• Links to relevant job sites and where to get career support

Education

• Links to qualifications and universities, TAFE, etc

• Basic description of qualifications and time involved in completing

• E-Training resources provided to support workers within the sector increase their skills – accredited and non-accredited modules

• 5 modules currently available with a further 5 due for completion late April 2008.

• What are three types of resources that are available for e-Training

• An Indigenous organisation has a new employee who has not worked with Indigenous people before. What resource could you suggest they use to better understand basic protocols?
