• We have 2 HP Servers – HP 7410, 8 cpu, 16gb memory 4.5TB disk

running HPUX 11.11, SAS V8 and V9, SAS/ITRM

– HP 4640, 4 cpu, 4 gb memory, 800gb disk space running HPUX 11.23, SAS V9 BI Server

• 100 + SAS Users• 4,000+ Web users

4 Steps to Enlightenment

Collecting

• Need to decide your source of data– We use HP Measureware

• What CPU’s are you going to capture data on– 2 machines, must have access to transfer the

data from 1 machine to the other.– Where are you to store your PDB (Data

Warehouse)

Extracting/Processing

• HP Measureware data needs to be extracted from the Online DB to file for ITRM to process

• Data captured by ITRM each day, • Stored / Summarised into

– Detail (45 Days)– Day (45 days)– Week ( 15 weeks) – Months (18 Months)– Year (5 years)

What does ITRM store ?
