Introduction

Thirty-two percent of elderly people aged over 75 years have ever fallen at least once a year, and among them, 24% have seriously injured.

Falling can limit self-confidence and motivation of older people’s independent life.

This is a serious public health problem with a substantial impact on health and healthcare costs.

Considering the increasing population of elderly people, falling will become one of the major problems to them.
